Three amazing bloggers, Journey in the Woods, My Perfect Breakdown, and spiritbabycomehome have nominated me for the Very Inspirational Blogger Award. I am truly honored and humbled to have been acknowledged for this award by these three women who have and continue to inspire me.
Here’s how the award works:
1. Thank and link the amazing person(s) who nominated you.Â
- Done (see above) 🙂
2. List the rules and display the award.
- Done 🙂
3. Share seven facts about yourself.
- I’m Canadian, but live in the US now. I grew up in a small town in northern Alberta, Canada of about 15,000 people, and now live in one of the biggest cities in the US. Life sure is weird.
- I’m a Capricorn. I’m not really that into astrology, but I’m always amazed how accurate my horoscopes tend to be.
- I love to go camping, hiking and just being out in nature. My husband does not. I think we’ve been camping once since we got married. This is something we definitely need to work on!
- My husband and I have been married for 6 years, and on Thursday we will have been together for 9 years. Where did the time go?!
- I had a ticket bought and paid for to spend a month in Tokyo in 2003, but had to cancel it due to a medical emergency. I still haven’t gone and it is still at the top of my list of biggest regrets. I will make that trip at some point in my life.
- I’m a preemie.
- I’m allergic to cats and dogs and have two cats and we will be getting a dog eventually. I just love animals too much so chose to suffer. Luckily it’s not a severe allergy 🙂
4. Nominate 15 other amazing blogs and comment on their posts to let them know they have been nominated.
I’m feeling really tired and lazy today so I’m going to copy My Perfect Breakdown, and just list the links below rather than post my nomination on each of the blogs and hopefully they will see this 🙂 Also, I really want to nominate more than just the 15 below. A Few Good Eggs, Sweeping up the Broken Pieces, and Hope Anchors the Soul are a just a few of the additional blogs that come to mind, but honestly each and every blog I follow is inspirational to me and deserves this nomination too, so I invite and encourage anyone who is reading this and wants to participate to go for it!

I also really want to renominate the 3 lovely ladies who nominated me. They have already accepted their awards, but I really want to acknowledge them in the list above too <3
Loved your list of facts and getting to know you better! Also, thanks for including me in your nominations (even if it was copied). I still feel incredibly honored! You are a peach! xo

You have no idea how much of an inspiration you are to me Elisha! You keep my faith and hope alive <#
P.s., I didn’t copy My Perfect Breakdown’s list (though I think some of you are on there), I just copied the idea to post my list without also posting on each of your blogs. I’ve had a headache all day and just didn’t have enough energy to post on everyone’s blogs and let them know I nominated them 🙂 I feel so lazy!
Congrats, sweetie!
Dani – I’m not sure if you saw on my blog, but I nominated you as well since I love your blog too. 🙂
Sadly, I did not see it. But I’m heading your way now to check it out.
Thank you. Truly.
Hugs,
Dani
Thanks hon <3 I just realized I missed your name on my list, but you're totally on my list too!
Thank you, sweetie. But certainly not my intention by commenting on your award.
Squeezes,
Dani
No, I mean it! This is why I wanted to nominate everyone on my list because I didn’t want to miss anyone, and all of you are so inspirational to me! So happy that My Perfect Breakdown got you covered 🙂
Wow – soon you can make that Tokyo trip with the two men in your life! Thanks so much for the recognition and for giving me some more blogs to check out!
Thanks hon. I think that sounds like a great plan for the future!
I loved reading your post and learning a few new things about you! Gotta say, I also love that you used my “lazy” idea of not sending notifications to everyone you nominated. 🙂
🙂 I loved reading your post and learning more about you too! Thanks for the idea!
I also have that cat allergy, but I find its lessened over the years. That or I’m only allergic to the mean cats! Haha
Haha! I think that must be it for me too 🙂
Here’s hoping a Tokyo trip is in your near future. I loved learning more about you and thanks for the shout out. Congrats to you!
Thanks hon <3 And of course! You are so inspiring to me!
